About this event

The Legal Experts at PIP Professional Support CIC will be lending us their expertise to guide us through the process of claiming PIP and transferring from DLA to PIP. The hour-long session will help attendees to understand what the process entails, the eligibility criteria and your rights within that. There will be Q&A opportunities at the end of the session, however Cat and Chris won't be able to advise on specific cases but will be able to answer general questions.

Cat is the Chief Executive Director and founder of PIPPS, Chris a director and Senior Lawyer. PIPPS was born after Cat saw first-hand, the struggles which disabled people face against the benefits system. She felt compelled to use her legal knowledge and skills to offer proactive support to anyone going through the claim or appeal process. PIPPS has since helped tens of thousands of people navigate the UK disability benefits system.

You can contact PIPPS or find out more about their service here: www.pipps.co.uk

We will also be facilitating a short reflective space immediately after the webinar. This session will allow those affected by the topics covered in the webinar to reflect with peers. A longer reflective session will also be held on Friday 16th August at 10am.
