This session will provide an overview of the ERSAB Persons in a position of trust policy.

Aim of briefings: To understand your organisation’s roles and responsibilities under the ERSAB PiPoT policy Learning outcomes: By the end of the briefing delegates will:

  • Know the criteria for a PiPoT referral
  • Know what they should do when they have a PiPoT concern
  • Know how to make a PiPoT referral to the Local Authority
  • Know what notifications should be made to other parties where there is a PiPoT concern
  • Understand what is meant by justifiable and proportionate information sharing
