"Great to get together and have some shared discussion on open innovation. I expect it will be more interesting than some of BioIT." --Evaluation comment from the Pistoia Alliance Conference 2011
The Pistoia Alliance is pleased to announce its second annual conference and members' meeting. Last year's conference was attended by over 100 scientists and informatics professionals in life science R&D. This year's conference will feature the announcement of the winners of the Sequence Squeeze competition, demonstrations of the Sequence Services Phase 2 pilots for NGS data, and discussions about new Pistoia Alliance portfolio projects.
For the latest conference news and an agenda, please visit the Pistoia Alliance website at http://www.pistoiaalliance.org/2012-Events/24-april-2012-pistoia-alliance-annual-conference.html. Special thanks to Pistoia Alliance member Thomson Reuters for graciously offering to host the meeting on its campus in Boston for the second year.
Please register for the conference as either a Pistoia Alliance member or non-member (if you are unsure about whether your organization is a Pistoia Alliance member, please check here http://www.pistoiaalliance.org/about/members.html. If you are interested in attending, please either request a ticket or put yourself on the waitlist and we will confirm with you about ticketing.

When & Where
We are a global, not-for-profit alliance of life science companies, vendors, publishers, and academic groups that work together to lower barriers to innovation in R&D.
Our projects transform R&D innovation through pre-competitive collaboration. We bring together the key constituents to identify the root causes that lead to R&D inefficiencies. We develop best practices and technology pilots to overcome common obstacles.
Our members collaborate as equals on open projects that generate significant value for the worldwide life sciences community.
