Pit Stop - Stress Awareness

This Stress Awareness sessions are designed to provide participants with increased knowledge regarding stress, assess their current stress producing factors and learn practical methods to increase health and wellbeing.
Content of the session:
•What is stress?
•The Human Performance Curve, stress zones and process
•Causes of individual stress
•Stress recognition in self and others
•Personal stress coping indicator wheel
•Personal coping techniques (physical, behavioural and mental/emotional)
•Using the 'ABC' model approach
•Support and resources
By the end of this session you will be aware of stress producing factors, signs and symptoms, along with knowledge of personal stress-coping methods and avenues of assistance.
