Description
The Plan
Our Pita Month collaboration will culminate in the grand-finale on Sunday 4th February, the one-off Pita Party, when all of the guest chefs will come together to showcase their dish. Guests will try a mini pita from all four guest chefs and a dessert from Berber & Q Shawarma Bar. Things are hotting up this year, as guests will now be able to vote for their favourite creation, where only one will come out on top.
The line-up sees David Carter of Smokestak, Nud Dudhia of Breddos Tacos, Sarit Packer and Itamar Srulovich of Honey & Co and Israeli chef, Oded Oren let their Middle Eastern creative juices run wild with each chef putting their stamp on the classic pita. Shawarma Bar will then put the cherry on the pita, with a surprise dessert creation.
As well as mixing it up in the kitchen and putting their influence into our pitas, each guest chef/restaurant will also be picking tunes to put on the platter and soundtracking their pita service via the Shawarma Soundsystem.
This year we'll be offering a pair of drink flights, one based on matching cocktail 'shooters' and one based of wines directly from our cellar.

The Party
From 6pm Shawarma Bar will turn into a proper (Pita) Party...
Imagine an 80’s style cocktail reception...Except, instead of hors d’œuvre, there are pitas been thrown out, and instead of Bellini’s, there’s Shawarma shot infusions and natural wine samplers (if you get the drink flights tickets)
As well as mixing it up in the kitchen and putting their influence into our pitas, each guest chef/restaurant will also be picking tunes to put on the platter and soundtracking their pita service via the Shawarma Soundsystem.
