Event description

A one day inspiring, practical and innovative workshop to help you rediscover how to pitch for support and transform you and your teams so they can go out and fundraise

Pitch Driven Fundraising brings together the entrepreneurial approach of pitching for business with the passion and impact of fundraising. From building a case for support, to launching an appeal or campaign, to marketing a new product, getting a partnership in place or simply asking people to help, this lively interactive workshop will provide all the tools and practice to pitch for great fundraising, including a 7 Step Fundraising Pitch Plan. Starting with purpose, finding emotional connection, building stories, finding benefits and mastering content, facts and presentation, participants will bring their own challenge and craft a pitching solution together using the 7 steps with an experienced fundraising expert.

It’s so easy to get stuck behind a desk or behind social media, responding to enquiries. We have come to rely on the all those indirect ways to get people to support. So, the question is what happened to our ability and confidence to ask? To go and find people and pitch? To lean forward and go and get rather than wait and respond? When you relearn how to craft your pitch personally, as a team and as an organisation, and then go and find people with purpose and confidence, you can make a huge change and difference.

This workshop will help you transform your ability to pitch with purpose through Pitch Driven Fundraising

A personal message from Stephen

All my fundraising career, especially in Community Fundraising, I’ve noticed how hard it is to get people to go out and get rather than just respond and manage. Recently, I was talking with a Fundraising Leader about this very topic and since then I kept seeing the same thing. So, I decided to do something about it. I’ve taken business know how and fundraising passion and blended them in a day workshop for my fundraising friends and colleagues. I want you to succeed for your personally and for your causes. This is the first one in the UK – I’ve shared this in Australia and in Amsterdam, and now I want to share it with you.

I’d love to see you for a great day together, but places are going to be limited so don’t wait!
