Nikhil Jacob from Braintame, a UoM startup that makes neuroscience powered smartphone games that helps you relax quicker, while having fun. Designed to promote relaxeful brain states, these offer an easier and quicker stress detox solution, compared to mindfulness and meditation apps, which require more effort and focus to use.

Dr Chris Ward, director & co-founder of STRATASTEM , a spin-out working on screening technologies for Alzheimer's disease. Chris is a recognised expert in the stem cell field and is Honorary Reader in Stem Cell Biology at The University of Manchester. He has extensive experience of managing multi- site and cross-disciplinary commercial and academic projects as well as advising companies on strategic product and service development in the stem cell and drug screening sectors.

Dr Lizzie Crawford, CEO of Clin-e-cal, a digital health company, spun-out from the University of Manchester and Manchester Foundation Trust. Patent protected Sound Response® technology underpins Clin-e-cal apps which are specifically designed to address significant needs in the respiratory sector. Lizzie has been involved in the development of early stage technology for more than a decade and it was Sound Response which caught Lizzie’s imagination and made her take the leap from technology transfer professional to entrepreneur. With passion for Clin-e-cal’s vision and the power of the technology Lizzie is focused on building the team’s experience to take it to the next level.
