Pitch Up at Ovalhouse
Date and time
Description
Overview
We’re pleased to announce that the next Pitch Up - our welcoming gathering of theatre makers, producers and venue programmers - will take place at Ovalhouse, London on Thursday 2 March, 1.30-6.00pm. This Pitch Up will have a particular focus on BAME theatre makers.
What is Pitch Up?
Pitch Up is a relaxed afternoon aimed at making new connections. It is comprised of 6min and 1min pitches from venues and theatre makers, with plenty of time scheduled in for informal conversations. Pitches are delivered to everyone in a spirit of openness and collaboration, and you don’t need to pitch to attend.
So if you’re an artist, producer or venue involved in making theatre, and you’re looking for partners on a project, Pitch Up is for you!
Who is Pitching?

Seed Funding
Pitch Up is timed to coincide with house’s latest seed funding open call; investments of £3000-£8000 to enable BAME theatre makers to explore new ideas in partnership with a regional venue. We hope that some of the partnerships formed at Pitch Up will be among this year’s recipients.
