We’re pleased to announce that the next Pitch Up will take place at Gulbenkian, University of Kent, Canterbury on Thursday 3 November, 2-5pm in association with the Canterbury Festival.
Pitch Up is a friendly gathering of theatre makers, producers and venue programmers with the aim of encouraging connections and partnerships that can make new ideas happen. You don’t need to pitch to attend Pitch Up - just book your free place at the top of this page.
Pitch Up usually features around 15 pitches from theatre makers and programmers. The final schedule will be announced shortly but we already have confirmation from the following programmers:
The Marlowe Studio, Canterbury - focused on developing new writing and creating opportunities for local artists (eg through local casting)
Folkestone Quarterhouse - investing in new work that is co-created with local audiences
Ideas Test - looking for artists interested in working in community spaces, including No. 34, Ideas Test's intimate base in Sittingbourne
Theatre Royal Margate - supporting a range of work but especially interested in projects that engage with Margate and its communities
