Are your pitches falling on deaf ears? Does your messaging need updating to reflect the current global situation. Join us for a special online panel on Friday, 17 April as we discuss how to pitch and maintain relationships in the current difficult situation we find ourselves in.
We’ll be joined for this event by the fantastic Amy Skelding, Des Burke and Barry Johnston, as well as a Michael Ball from Traverse.
Barry Johnston an Account Director and social media specialist at Gosh PR. Barry’s oversees social and content both for the agency and clients, and is a highly experienced member of the senior PR team. He is a spokesperson for the agency at events, seminars and webchats such at this.
Amy Skelding is a partner at Brighter Group, a Finn Partners company, winner of Best PR Agency at the Travel Marketing Awards and Best PR & Representation Agency at the TTG Awards 2019. She started her career in travel as a nine year old reporter for BBC Radio 4’s Breakaway, was named one of TTG’s Tomorrow’s Travel Leaders in 2013 and now runs a busy PR team working on everything from press trips, TV programmes, influencer campaigns, crisis communications, press office activity, pop up and big brand activations for a wide range of clients from tourism boards to hotel groups, tour operators and airlines. Her huge network of travel industry and media contacts know her for a no nonsense approach and her constant search for ‘the story’. Tenacious, creative and a self-confessed grammar nerd, she’s not afraid to challenge and debate the evolution of the industry.
Des Burke works in PR for Tourism Ireland with six years experience across the Great Britain and Nordic Markets, and a champion of influencer marketing having led on many of the original influencer campaigns for Tourism Ireland.
The event will open at 12pm, with the panel discussion starting just after, once everyone is ‘in the room’. We’ll have a few short presentations followed by a guided panel discussion before opening up the Q&A to all ticket holders.
Tickets for this event are priced at £5, this is to ensure those registered to attend the event. All proceeds from this event will be donated to a charity that is helping with the coronavirus situation.
