Martha has over 20 years experience of working in the media industry as a journalist and broadcaster in newspapers, radio and television. She worked as a reporter and producer for Thames Television; Channel Four News; the BBC and ITN. Martha went on to become the Director of Communications for a number of charities including ActionAid, CAFOD, the Cardinal Hume Centre, and the National Centre for Languages.
Martha brings her unparalleled communications experience, to her training and takes a dedicated, objective and patient approach. As a trained coach she adopts a coaching style giving constructive and timely feedback to all her delegates.
She is currently delivering a wide range of courses including media interview Training; press release writing; and pitching to journalists workshops; and presentation skills. Her recent media training was for the Media Trust’s high profile Somali Voices project. Martha is also the chairman of trustees for the drug and alcohol rehabilitation charity Foundation For Change.
