The Personal Insolvency Working Group aims to bring together all stakeholders in Personal Insolvency to engender high standards of practice, and ensure Insolvency solutions remain fit for purpose. The group provides a forum to debate the grassroots issues and feed the relevant views and topics to Regulators, Trade Bodies, IVASC, the Money Advice Service and others.
PIWG Meeting 21st April
The day is split into two sessions. The morning session is a Workshop on the Standard Financial Statement and its Implementation. The reason for the split in the day (and ticketing) is to enable software providers and your firms operational Managers to attend the workshop, without the need to attend the main PIWG meeting in the afternoon. Please be aware when you book via Eventbrite that the tickets are split into SFS Workshop & PIWG Meeting. If you are staying for both please book one of each. If you are attending just one of the sessions, please just book the relevant ticket.
The afternoon session will be the main PIWG Meeting. You are welcome to submit items for the agenda to me at email@example.com The current agenda will feature an update on the MAS Collard report, Q&A with representatives from the FCA speaking on the cost and impact of authorisation for IP firms vs the benefits. Counsel review of Green vs Wright and its implications. The new insolvency rules and volume personal Insolvency.
As with our previous meeting, each attendee will be required to contribute £40 per ticket to the cost of the event.
