Event description

Description

After last November's exciting "Towards a PIE city?" event, Robin Johnson - described as one of the 'Founding Fathers' of PIE - had declared that it was time to spend a good few days in Bristol, in the Spring, to get a chance to visit and explore more services in the city than a brief 'whistle stop' conference appearance allows.

But Robin has no grants, sponsorship or other support for his work (See "And now a word for our sponsors" for a discussion on future funding, at: http://pielink.net/about/and-now-a-word-for-our-sponsors/) .

So for this trip, Robin proposes to sing for his supper, and cover (at least some of) his costs for this extended visit by offering one-to-one 'Masterclass' sessions; and charge for his time for these.

This could be a chance to talk over in more deptth what the new PIEs 2.0 framework, and the Pizazz self assessment mesaure, could mean for your services. Or it could be just a chance to support Robin's work, with a relaxed chat, from a convenient development or training budget.

Robin is also happy to be invited to visit some pkaces he's never been before. On the whole, he's hoping to have the mornings for visits, and the afternoons for 1-1s. "But we'll see how that pans out...."

To arrange a 1hour Master class session, book via Eventbrite here, and then email to agree a specific time slot.

NB: there will be a limited number of free sessions, intended primarily for service user groups, ar any others that simply dont have the funds to pay for time. Don't let being cash-strapped put you off.
