This year’s Place Party will be held in the newly refurbished Palace Hotel in Manchester on Thursday 13 October.
Last year more than 200 guests enjoyed the inaugural Place Party at Manchester Hall. This year’s event is designed to allow even more of our readers to enjoy Place Party, with at least double the attendance expected. The evening offers you the chance to entertain colleagues, clients and contacts in an informal setting. The night is designed to maximise networking time by removing traditional dress codes, awards and speeches. Expect plenty of live entertainment, good food and drink, music, dancing…

Our setting for the evening, the Palace Hotel, was completed by Alfred Waterhouse, architect of Manchester Town Hall and Manchester University as the office of insurance firm Refuge Assurance in 1895. The hotel is currently nearing the end of a multi-million-pound renovation and reconfiguration. The Palace’s two buildings on Oxford Street and Portland Street will be linked and a new entrance created for functions, alongside an internal street to be named Waterhouse Way. Place Party offers the chance for property folk to enjoy a first look at the famous landmark as it returns to its former glory.
The running order for the evening will be:
7pm Drinks reception, sponsored by Kier Group
8pm Three course dinner, entertainment, photobooth and DJ til late
