Planetary Imaging by David Pickles
Fri 21 April 2017, 19:30 – 22:30 BST
As a follow on from his popular Beginners Guide to Astrophotography talk, UK Astronomy member David Pickles is back! This time David will be teaching you all about Planetary Imaging.
Join David and the UK Astronomy Crew at Emberton Pavillion where David will talk through Planetary Imaging. David will teach you how to capture detailed images of the moon and planets and will then guide you through editing the final image.
Weather permitting, we can then head outside to try and put some of the hints and tips from the talk into practice.
This event is in return for a small donation and booking is essential. Please register via the link below. These donations allow us to deliver more events.
Who is it for?
This event is open to everyone who is interested in planetary imaging, and no prior knowledge or skills in photography or planetary imaging are needed. It is part of a new series where members suggest and host events based on their skills or interests.
Please note this talk is not suitable for children but if the weather is clear Ross will be on standby to take anyone who would like to, outside during the talk to look at whats up in the night sky.
