Description
A free event for community energy groups and organisations who support them, to highlight the resources available in the NEW PlanLoCaL toolkit on Energy Efficiciency and the Green Deal.
The day will consist of:
- An introduction from the Department for Energy and Climte Change
- How to use the PlanLoCaL toolkit to help your project along
- Interactive workshops on energy efficiency options and setting up a project
- Films and ideas to get you inspired
- Networking to share ideas and learning with other energy groups and professionals

- Alice Casey, Nesta: crowdfunding opportunities for community energy projects
- Understanding your area
- Energy game
- Housing Assessment Tool (HAT)

- Exploring roles in Green Deal
- Identifying funding opportunities
This is a fantastic opportunity to find out how the PlanLoCaL toolkit can be used in practice, to help to deliver Green Deal and energy efficiency projects at the community level.
Note: Spaces are limited at these events so please only register if you are certain you will come on the day. Places are limited to 2 delegates per organisation. If you would like more places than this please get in touch via communities@cse.org.uk.
We are able to offer travel bursaries if you are part of a voluntary group and are worried about travel costs (limited amount available, allocated on a first come, first served basis).
