"Motherhood is described as a career handicap but for me it was a career springboard. It made me better at my job." Cilla Snowball C.B.E Chair Women’s Business Council and CEO and Chairman AMV BBDO
Is 2017 the year you want to become a mother or start planning to be pregnant but are holding back?
Do you love your career and feel torn between your desire to have a baby and see your professional ambitions fulfilled?
Do you want to be a role model to younger women, have a successful career and a family but secretly wonder if it actually is possible?
If you are planning a baby in 2017, this workshop will show you how the pregnancy journey and transition to parenthood offers a natural fast-track to developing powerful leadership skills, can be a positive catalyst for growth and provides the opportunity for mothers and fathers to feel more authentic, balanced and fulfilled.
I work with many ambitious women who fear getting pregnant or struggle with conflicting emotions because they are surrounded by less than positive examples of mothers struggling to keep their careers on track and fulfil their full potential.
This is the third in a series of 3 sessions to help you feel more empowered, confident and prepared to become a working mother. This session will help you return to your workplace in a sustainable way that works for you and your business. Session 1 will help you feel empowered, confident and prepared to begin your pregnancy journey. Session 2 will help you feel empowered, confident and prepared to become a mother.
By the end of this 2 hour workshop you will know:-
The #1 mistake to avoid during your return to work negotiations
3 ways to ensure your transition back into the workplace goes smoothly
What you need to do to ensure a postitive and sustainable re-entry back to the workplace
This workshop is for you if you identify with any of the below:
- You don’t think it’s possible for a man or women to have a career and be a hands-on parent
- You feel disillusioned by the lack of women (and particularly mothers) in senior positions in business
- You need to be seen as someone who does parenting differently and is taken seriously by your peers and partner
- You want to be a role model and inspiration to younger men and women in your team
- Your lack of understanding around the potential and possibility of becoming a mother is holding you back.
As a Femine Leadership & Maternity Coach and Consultant I have worked and connected with thousands of women who are learning how to move into motherhood feeling empowered, inspired and supported to bring a new style of feminine leadership to our businesses and boardrooms and be the parent they want to be.
