Will lunch be provided?

There is a cafe on site at the Eskdalemuir Community Hub, so you are more than welcome to purchase a lunch in advance (recommended) or bring a packed lunch from home. Teas, coffees, and biscuits will be provided and are included in the course cost.

Is there parking on site?

Yes, there is ample parking at the Eskdalemuir Community Hub and the Boreland Forest site.

Do you provide overnight accommodation?

We are unable to offer overnight accommodation for delegates attending from out of town, but we are more than happy to make suggestions for places to stay in the area! Don't hesitate to be in touch.

What pre-requisite knowledge is required?

A basic understanding of forestry practice and/or undergraduate degree or equivalent

Is there any gear I need to bring?

Yes, you will need to bring a spade, clipboard or all-weather writer, any training materials (list provided upon registration), and suitable outdoor clothing and footwear.
