We will also be looking for your views on how we can influence future planning decisions, particularly the National Planning Framework 4 and the Scottish Planning Policies which we believe will be out for public consultation this coming week.

Our keynote speaker will be John Mayhew, Director of the Association for the Protection of Rural Scotland. As a planner and environmental consultant for many years, he is the perfect person to introduce us to the National Planning Framework and provide us with some useful insights

We hope to have some influence on what gets written into future national planning policies, which will guide how planning decisions are made at a local level.

We will highlight some areas you may want to respond to in this consultation to really make a difference.
