A free webinar for carers, patients and community healthcare staff in the Thames Valley
This event is for anyone caring for a person with dementia at home or supporting families with a relative who has dementia. Panel members will answer questions about planning for the future in dementia care, and how to avoid a crisis as the dementia progresses.
Description
The webinar will outline practical steps for Advance Care Planning in dementia care. We will discuss how to help avoid a crisis in the family as the dementia progresses. The panel members will describe which legal documents can help carers to plan ahead and when to arrange them, and answer questions from participants.
Questions can be submitted in advance or via the chat screen on the day.

NB: The webinar is for carers and patients, health and care staff, students, researchers and teachers in the Thames Valley. Practitioners outside Thames Valley are also welcome if places allow. Please put your organisation on the registration form (or write "none").
