Planning for University

CAAS are delighted to welcome Dr. Lewis Owens who will delivery a two-hour workshop will cover all aspects of applying to university within the UK, with specific focus on students and families with a diagnosis of ADHD and/or autism. As well as covering the basic application procedure, the session will also highlight the legal and practical implications of the application procedure for students with either diagnosis.
Lewis has worked and advised in the UK Higher Education system for over 15 years. During this time he has gained considerable insight into secondary and tertiary education in his roles as an undergraduate supervisor at Cambridge University, University Lecturer and Admissions Tutor, Higher Education Officer at a leading independent 6th Form College, and consultant to many leading companies.
Lewis has published widely and established his own education consultancy in 2006 which is recognised as one of the leading education consultancies in Europe. He was awarded a PhD from Queens’ College, Cambridge in 2000.
