Designing a garden full of plants that look attractive all year requires some forward planning. On this day long workshop we share the key tips and techniques that professionals use to keep gardens looking great all year round. Aimed at all levels of experience you’ll take home everything you need, including your own drawing kit, to make your borders bright and beautiful. A well worked out planting plan will save you money, no more expensive mistakes, and give you the joy of a flower-filled border for most of the year.

Your workshop ticket includes entry to the grounds at Bowood so you can enjoy the rest of your day discovering the delights of one of the UK's historic landscapes.

We run Floral Craft and Garden Design workshops at Westonbirt Arboretum. The Garden courses teach you how to transform your garden into a beautiful space. And on our Floral courses you will learn how to craft beautiful flower bouquets, vase arrangements and Christmas wreaths.  

Our courses are never more than a day long, and often just half a day. We restrict numbers to a maximum of 10 students to make sure every students receives individual attention. All the Crafty Gardeners’ workshops are hands-on and practical, teaching you the top tips, techniques and shortcuts so you can apply what you have learned as soon as you get home. They make a perfect treat for yourself, or an ideal present for a loved one.
