Planning 2.0: How Technology is Revolutionising Planning
Technology is radically - and rapidly - changing traditional approaches to most areas of business. Its advance is well on the march in the field of town planning and property development, and if you are not already thinking about how you can utilise it more, this seminar will explain how - and why - you should be. The future is already here.
The first part of the talk will look at the types of emerging technologies that are transforming the way developments are designed, consented, implemented and managed, such as 3D printing, 3D laser scanning, virtual reality and augmented reality - and how these are already being deployed across a wide range of projects.
The second part will look at the clear consenting and legal benefits that the use of these technologies can bring, in terms of both securing and de-risking planning permissions.
