About this event

The setting of an historic park or garden is often referred to in planning responses but what exactly do we mean by it? Sally Bate, GT Historic Landscape Project Officer, takes us through the the different types of setting and describes what can be affected by proposed developments.

This event is aimed at County Garden Trust and Gardens Trust members but others are welcome to join us.

Organised by

The Gardens Trust is the UK national charity dedicated to protecting our heritage of designed gardens and landscapes. We campaign on their behalf, undertake research and conservation work, train volunteers and encourage public appreciation and involvement, working with the national network of County Garden Trusts.
