Planning your Allotment Workshop 2025

We'll be looking at how to lay out your new allotment or growing space for ease of use and productivity concentrating on infrastructure, no-dig beds, tools, water harvesting, composting and what happens throughout the growing year. This practical workshop lead by grower Jo Tytherleigh from Harewood Farm is ideal for people new to growing food, or are currently on an allotment waiting list.

A free soup and cake lunch and hot drinks will also be provided. This workshop will be taking place outdoors so stout shoes and waterproofs should be worn.

This is a workshop supported by the Tamara Landscape Scheme, but we do ask for a deposit of £10 per person which will be refunded on attending on the day. Please note Eventbrite fees are unable to refunded.
