Planning Your School CPD Programme

The Teacher Development Trust are delighted to be hosting the conference 'Planning your School CPD Programme' at Rossett School, Harrogate in May. This course is aimed at senior and middle leaders or those with any responsibility for professional development or teaching and learning.
The day will be a unique opportunity to gain an overview to the principles of effective CPD from David Weston, CEO of the Teacher Development Trust, before focussing on the specifics of planning CPD across a year in your context. You will have the chance to explore case study examples from other schools/ teaching groups and have time to network and plan with like-minded colleagues around areas including:
- Evaluating CPD
- Enabling research-informed professional learning
- Facilitating buy-in and engagement
- Structuring time and choice with a CPD programme
- Identifying quality external expertise
Guest speakers include Alex Quigley (Director of Huntington Research School), Professor Samantha Twiselton (Director of Sheffield Institute of Education) and Sean Cavan (Head of Strategic Business Engagement at Sheffield Hallam University).
This full-day event will be held at Rossett School, Harrogate on Wednesday 17th May 2017 from 9.30am - 4.00pm. Tickets cost £195 (£95 for TDT Network Schools) which includes refreshments and lunch. Numbers are limited and are on a first come, first served basis.
