Plant Fibres and Natural Cordage

In this practical workshop we will learn about creating fibres from non-conventional plants, and their many potential uses. We'll identify plants that we can use to make natural fibres and how to gather materials. Then we'll explore the principles of cordage, weaving and twining - and explore our creativity!

The workshop is led by Elisa (Sankofa to Nature / Nature Vibezzz). Elisa is an expereinced crafter and a great advocate of nature-based practices.

Organised by

Based on an organic farm just outside Glastonbury, we help people connect with nature and learn about organic food and farming, rural skills and nature-based wellbeing.
