JOIN THE MEDWAY VALLEY COUNTRYSIDE PARTNERSHIP AT THIS UNIQUE EVENT ABOUT HISTORIC PLANT HUNTERS AND THE AMAZING ADVENTURES OF MODERN DAY COLLECTORS AND CONSERVATIONISTS.

This event moves from past to present, looking at the plant hunters of old and their discoveries to modern day experiences and then into the present with conservation project and invasive plant control. 

Talks are being delivered by well known local experts including: 

- TOM HART DYKE -    LULLINGSTONE CASTLE AND WORLD GARDEN

- JOSHUA SPARKS -    SISSINGHURST CASTLE GARDENS

- STEPHEN HARMER - AUTHOR AND LECTURER IN HORTICULTURE AND GARDEN HISTORY 


PART OF THE HERITAGE LOTTERY FUND AND ENVIRONMENT AGENCY FUNDED PROJECT; PAST PLANTS, FUTURE FLORA, THIS EVENT IS FREE AND NOT TO BE MISSED.  THE EVENT INCLUDES TIME TO MINGLE AND CHAT WITH REFRESHMENTS INCLUDED PLUS THE CHANCE TO COLLECT INFORMATION ABOUT LOCAL CONSERVATION AND HERITAGE PROJECTS.
