About this event

Join the Countryside Rangers at Elrick Hill. Get an overview on plant ID and join in with a Bioblitz to record a good range of plants, insects and other wildlife.

Elrick Hill is one of the countryside sites managed by Aberdeen City Council Countryside Ranger Service. Elrick Hill supports a very diverse range of plants from heath bed straw, orchids and blaeberry. These plants in turn support an abundance of animals such as beetles, ants, bees, butterflies, small mammals and birds.

This is an outdoor event so please wear sturdy footwear and clothing suitable for the weather. All under 16s must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Bring a packed lunch and plenty of water, sun screen and head protection in case it is hot and sunny.
