For hotels in the city centre, the Hampton by Hilton is a viable choice, situated not far from INOX. For those arriving by train, the Novotel, Mercure St Paul's Hotel, Leonardo Hotel, and Leopold Hotel are all in close proximity to the station,  either a15-min walk or 5-mins by tram.

What accommodation is near the venue that has free parking onsite?

Halifax Hall Hotel (www.halifaxhall.co.uk) and Jonas Hotel (www.jonashotel.co.uk) are both situated within about a 15-minute walking distance from INOX and offer free parking.

Is parking available for the event?

Yes - We recommend using the Q-Park on Durham Road (S10 2JA) just over the road from the Students’ Union.

Tip: If you use contactless payment, scan your card when entering the car park so you don’t have to queue for payment when you return to your car.

How do I get to the venue by taxi?

There are taxi ranks at the railway station and beside the City Hall. The journey to the University takes between 5 to 10 minutes, and you should expect to pay about £5. Ask them to drop you at Bar One on Glossop Road.

How do I get to the venue by tram?

Accepted Answer

You can catch the Supertram to the campus from Meadowhall, the railway station and the city centre. Both the blue route to Malin Bridge and the yellow route to Middlewood stop at the University. Walk up Hounsfield Road and turn left at the end. The Students& Union is straight ahead.
