Description
This pop up is the second event for two local talents, Gem from Gem’s Wholesome Kitchen and Nicola from The Kleen Kitchen. They are delighted to work with the Gingerman Restaurant which is a stunning and intimate restaurant close to Brighton’s seafront.
Working with produce that is grown and sourced as seasonally, sustainably and locally as possible, they hope to surprise and delight their guests with an organic plant based winter warming feast.
On arrival you will be welcomed with a cocktail followed by a five course taster menu with the seating on large 'family-style' tables.
This vegan pop up was born with the liked minded aim of both Gem and Nicola to bring people together to enjoy a menu that is vibrant, enchanting and delicious.
Time: 7pm arrival. First course is served at 7.30pm.
Ticket includes and a welcome cocktail and 5 course taster menu. A full bar will be open on the night including a selection of vegan wines sourced by the amazing venue.
Special diets: All dishes will be dairy, gluten and refined suagr free, for any other dietary requirements, please get in touch.
About Us
Nicola – The Kleen Kitchen
Nicola is a Mum of three young boys who is passionate about great food and a healthy body. After making her own raw chocolate and desserts for years a natural progression was setting up The Kleen Kitchen in April 2017.
All her desserts are made with plant based ingrediants that are free from gluten, dairy and refined sugar using the best quality organic ingrediants.
The Kleen Kitchen supplies local cafes, business and residents with raw plant based cakes and treats.
Gem – Gem’s Wholesome Kitchen
Gemma also a Mum of 2 and cooking has been a huge passion of hers from a very young age due to growing up in a large family.
She recently moved back from Barcelona where she ran a vegan takeaway business from home and provided plant based bento boxes for travelling professionals.
Now back in Brighton Gemma is a private chef working to help those who want to maintain a healthy and balanced diet alongside catering for yoga and health retreats. Gemma also provides several local supermarkets and cafes with her homemade granola and raw energy balls.
Her love of cooking wholesome and tasty food combined with knowledge of how eating a plant based diet can change your life is where Gems Wholesome Kitchen was born.
