This course is the definitive playwork course for experienced wraparound providers* delivered by leading national play specialists Inspired Children. The course is designed to give wraparound providers a comprehensive and robust tool kit for creating the most amazing play opportunities for their children. With up-to-date neuroscience and methods not taught on any other playwork course, this course gives a wealth of ideas, methods and strategies for any wraparound setting to radically improve play for children. The course is suitable for any experienced Wraparound Care or Out of School provider regardless of whether or not they have an existing playwork qualification. This is a truly unique experience and the most comprehensive play course currently available.

*The course is also suitable for new playworkers who have completed the introductory course.

Ben Kingston-Hughes is an international keynote speaker, author and multi award-winning trainer. He has won the National Playwork Award for Best Trainer for his work with Playwork Settings and his distinctive blend of humour, neuroscience and real-life practical experiences have made his training invaluable for anyone working with children. He is also the Managing Director of Inspired Children and has worked with vulnerable children across the UK for over 35 years. His game-changing book about play, “A Very Unusual Journey into Play” has gained widespread acclaim and his new book, “Why Children Need Joy” was a finalist for a Nursery World Award for best professional book 2024, where it was awarded “highly commended”.
