Friends Who Are Going
Event description

Description

A staged reading by New-End-Theatre-Beyond of the play by Brian Daniels.

It explores the impact of early onset dementia on two very different families. With authenticity, insight and humour, the strands of these stories are woven together to create a documentary style production highlighting the emotions, dilemmas and challenge experienced by people affected by dementia.

“the play is subtly powerful, sympathetic and sharp, sad and funny and hearing it read engages me as seeing it performed might not have done. Where dementia is a villain, words are priceless” Howard Jacobson, Booker Prize winning author (The New Statesman, May 2016)

Free admission including Refreshments from 18.00 and short discussion after the performance
