LODZ FILM SCHOOL - SCREENING
26/10/16 | Wednesday | The Old Hairdresser's | 6pm | Free entry
Play Poland Film Festival 2016 is coming to Old Hairdresser's with a special exhibition presenting selected highlights from the Polish School of Poster. The making of artistic posters has been long-lasting tradition in Poland and furthermore internationally appreciated by filmgoers and filmmakers such as Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg. This exhibition is the first and only substantial collection of Polish film posters in Glasgow. The event will be attended by special guests- Urszula Jurzyna- aspiring Polish film director and David Galletly- Glaswegian illustrator and graphic designer.
Following the exhibition we will arrange a special screening composed by short movies made by former and current students from Polish Film Schools. The screenings will be followed by a Q&A with Urszula Jurzyna - awarded Polish film director- whose movie "Black Hole" will be opening the programme.
Both events are FREE, and for everyone who will get a FREE Eventbrite ticket, there will be waiting a nice and tasty surprise.
