About this event
💡 Why This Matters
Behind every statistic on youth suicide is a child who needed hope, connection, and support. Research in neuroscience and behaviour shows us that when children develop resilience pathways in the brain, they are better equipped to cope with life’s challenges, recover from adversity, and seek help when they need it.
This Brain Behaviour MasterClass will empower you with science-based strategies to promote resilience and wellbeing in children and young people. On World Suicide Prevention Day, let’s come together as professionals to strengthen our role in prevention through knowledge, connection, and practical tools.
👩🏫 About the Host
This MasterClass is hosted by Zelna Lauwrens, Founder of Kids Life Studio® and creator of the global Play-Based Coaching® movement. A former special needs teacher, school counsellor, and NHS wellbeing assessor, Zelna holds a Master’s in Clinical Child Psychology and pursued doctoral research in psychiatry at Oxford University.
For over 20 years, she has trained children's change makers that include educators, doctors, psychologists, social workers, and coaches worldwide to use play as a practical, brain-based tool for building resilience, wellbeing, and hope in children.
