About this event

Make a mini gnome world

Make your own mini gnome out of air-dry clay. Then craft a charming little landscape for them using clay and a variety of fun materials.

Your magical creation will rest atop a bed of soil, ready for you to sprinkle with cress seeds. Over the following weeks, watch as your miniature world begins to flourish and transform! The air-dry clay will need about a week to fully set, but once dry, you can bring your gnomes to life with paint, perfect for a rainy-day activity at home.

Event Highlights:

  • Gnome Sculpting: Craft your very own mini gnome using air-dry clay, bringing their tiny personality to life!
  • Build Their Home: Create a charming little land for your gnome using clay and a variety of materials.
  • Watch Your World Grow: Place your creations on soil and sprinkle cress seeds—over the next few weeks, your mini world will flourish!
  • Rainy-Day Fun: Once your clay gnome has dried (about a week later), take it home to paint for another creative activity.
