Event description

Description

Playfight gives you the unique opportunity to both get in direct contact with yourself, and experience the physicality of your opponent.

Through experimenting with physical contact, confrontation, playfulness and self-experiencing, you will establish a connection with an opponent, and use this to explore his power, beauty, hostility, sensitivity, vulnerability, creativity and courage.

We start with a long warm-up, and finish with the Queerfight ritual, which is held and witnessed by a circle of attentive and supportive men.

Everyone is invited to move within their own limits and possibilities, and you don’t need any previous experience of combat sports, martial arts or Playfighting to take part.

Playfight (London) is open to Gay, Bi, Trans and Queer identifying men.
