Overview

A comedy Christmas play written and directed by two 17 year olds from East Kilbride.

Mary Kings accidentally joins the Parent-Teacher Association after her daughter, Gabriella is cast as the lead in this year's nativity - she's playing Mary! They are joined by a vibrant, funny, unique cast of characters at these weekly PTA meetings, from passive-agressive "yummy-mummy" Joy and smalltown heartthrob Seth to loveable deputy-head Mr Shepard and many, many more! Join the PTA in (attempting) to write, cast and direct a cohesive nativity, navigate typical school-gate drama, and more often than not, end up back at the local pub!

Playing Mary was written, cast, directed and produced by Tanith Bavaird and Nikita McNaught, two 17 year olds from East Kilbride, who both have a passion for creating art, theatre and community. We hope you enjoy!
