MY NAME IS……Following on from Julie’s workshop of the same name, this workshop will bring your MY NAME IS poem to life.Create your alter ego as a stick puppet, dress it, give it features and hair and whatever else you like and make it come alive.Transform your poem and puppet into a mini play film. Painted backgrounds, fabric, glue, pens, lolly sticks, stick people and tripod for filming, all provided to have fun with your alter ego and express yourself in a different way.

Artist Bio:

Julie Easley (she/her) is a widely published working-class poet, activist, intersectional feminist and trans ally. She is a featured poet in wave fifteen of iambapoet.com. Her debut chapbook ‘Not My King’ was recently published in 2024 by The Black Light Engine Room Press.
