PLAYSTART

A night of new writing

proudly sponsored by the Noel Coward Foundation


A proud showing of the results of our inagural PLAYSTART new writing event.

After receiving an overwhelming amount of applications from emerging creatives, The Mono Box, Ned Bennett (An Octoroon, Yen, Pomona) and assistant director Gemma Aked-Priestley have selected 4 new writers to receive mentoring from playwrights Tristan Bernays (Boudica: The Globe), Theresa Ikoko (Girls; Soho Theatre) Katherine Soper (Wish List; Royal Court) and Nathaniel Martello-White (Blackta; Royal Court).


This night is just the start with a showing of 4 original 15 minute long plays. Join us to support and relish this showcase of emerging talent:

The Sun, the Moon, and the Stars
