Event description

Description

This three hour workshop will introduce playwrights to the fundamentals of producing their own work on the fringe/independent theatre scene. We will explore the role of the producer and the skills needed take a play from page to stage.

Naomi will offer practical advice on all aspects of the production process including assembling your creative team, creating a production budget, casting and the audition process, marketing your play and financing your production.

No previous production experience is required to take part in this session - the workshop is meant to be an introduction or for those with very limited experience of producing theatre.

The venue is wheelchair accessible.

Please note this is a city centre location and parking in the surrounding area is very limited. We encourage you to travel by public transport if at all possible.
