Approximately 170,000 charities are registered with the Charity Commission, with 668 added between March 2024 and January 2025. If you include unregistered organisations, CIOs, and CICs, the number approaches 400,000.

It’s no surprise that businesses are being asked for more by the charities they already support, or are receiving requests from more new ones than ever before. In many cases, it’s both.

This event explores the challenges faced when charities are asking for more while businesses may have less to give, and how organisations can ensure that any support, financial or otherwise, delivers the greatest possible impact.
