About this Event
The Lambeth, Southwark, and Lewisham Black and Minority Ethnic Sexual and Reproductive Health Promotion service is led by Brook and its partners, which is aimed at delivering an engaging and empowering service for Black and Minority Ethnic communities across the three boroughs.
This 3-hour training session is designed for professionals working directly with Black and Minority Ethnic communities in any setting, who may have the opportunity to promote the positive sexual health of their clients and support them in their sexual and reproductive health choices.
The Health Promotion specialist training team would like to invite professionals who work in Lambeth, Southwark, and Lewisham to attend our online training sessions. The sessions are suitable for professionals working in a variety of sectors who engage with adults aged 18+.By the end of the session you will be able to:
• Understand why pleasure is important in SRH
• Address myths around sex and sexual pleasure
• Anatomy and pleasure
• Explore whether people are influenced by messages they receive about sex
This is an online session and will take place on Zoom, a link will be sent out closer to the time of the session, please make sure the email address you provided is accessed before the session. If you are booking more than one person on the session you need to ensure their email address is provided.
Priority will be given to Professionals who work or reside in Lambeth, Southwark, and Lewisham. WE WILL VERIFY YOUR LOCATION WITH YOU PRIOR TO THIS EVENT.
Whilst this programme could be used for professionals working with any client group, it is particularly tailored for those working with clients who identify as Black and Minority Ethnic.
THIS TRAINING IS FREE FOR PROFESSIONALS IN LAMBETH, SOUTHWARK, AND LEWISHAM. WE WILL VERIFY YOUR LOCATION WITH YOU PRIOR TO THIS EVENT.
