Plowman and Cummins present a surreal hour-long trip to the hairdressers. Expect classical singing, falling over, mess, beauty, violence, and the feeling you get when you see someone running for the bus as it drives away.

‘Plowman and Cummins’ is experimental clown duo Sally Plowman and Cailin Cummins. Using surreal visual elements, physical theatre and splintered narrative, they integrate clowning and performance art. They are interested in a slapstick revival, using moments of violence and danger with silliness, classical singing, mess, beauty. They see clowning as a radical position, where skilled chaos can threaten the status quo.
