We are pleased to invite you and your teams to an educational event taking place during the Protected Learning Time afternoon, designed to enhance your practice’s ability to support patient wellbeing through physical activity.

Event Overview:

This session is facilitated by the Together an Active Future (TaAF) team—part of Sport England’s network of 12 Local Delivery Pilots. TaAF is dedicated to reducing inactivity and promoting meaningful, community-level change to help people lead more active lives.

In collaboration with ELA, the event also supports practices in aligning with QoF targets and generating robust evidence for CQC assessments—highlighting effective teamwork and a proactive, supportive practice culture.

What to Expect:This interactive session is tailored for primary care staff and will focus on enhancing your ability to engage patients—especially those with long-term conditions—in conversations about physical activity. The afternoon will cover:

  • Practical, engaging approaches to discussing activity with patients
  • An overview of useful tools and resources, including Moving Medicine
  • Strategies for embedding physical activity promotion into everyday care routines

This is a valuable opportunity to build confidence, share best practices, and reinforce the vital role of physical activity in patient health outcomes.

We look forward to welcoming you and your teams to this important and inspiring session.
