THIS SESSION IS ONLY OPEN TO TOWER HAMLETS GPs & PRACTICE NURSES. ANY OTHER BOOKINGS WILL BE CANCELLED

Preventing disability and improving lives for people with ‘Medically Unexplained Symptoms’ by developing a consistent and evidence based approach across Tower Hamlets integrated health and social care services.

Updated knowledge of:

· Medically Unexplained Symptoms (MUS) theory, prevalence and impact on health and wellbeing.

· Current Evidence base

· Models of care delivery

· Do’s and Don’ts in MUS management

· Reframing strategies/ use of language to evoke optimum outcomes

Opportunity to discuss:

· Key practice issues

· Barriers to effective integrated management of patients with MUS

· Current gaps in local service delivery
