Plug it Up - Spitting Yarns

Led by performance artist Carrianne Vivianette, Spitting Yarns invites audiences into the playful, expressive world of sound poetry. Rooted in the radical traditions of Dadaism and Futurism, this session journeys through the works of Hugo Ball, Lily Greenham, Katalin Ladik, and Elsa von Freytag-Loringhoven. Expect dramatic performances, deep listening, and an open, playful space to experiment with your own sonic expression. With a short workshop guiding participants to craft and perform their own sound poems, Spitting Yarns invites you to break form, and make noise. Come to listen—or take the mic.

Attendance is open to all - but please be aware that workshop & performances across the weekend are restricted to women & marginalised genders
