A forum where Sisters sit in the hot seat to deliver actionable business nuggets based on their areas of knowledge, know-how and expertise.

About this Event

The Knowledge Bank represents the breadth-&-depth of knowledge, know-how, expertise and experience within Sister Snog. It’s like a bank the where the deposits are a currency of entrepreneurial wisdom and withdrawals are business insights.

Everyone at Sister Snog is an expert or leader or pioneer or change-maker or innovator brimming with passion-&-purpose. Which means the breadth and depth of skills, know-how, knowledge, expertise and experience is mind blowing. Plum Workshops are a release for that wisdom and those insights.

Held weekly. On a Monday after lunch between 14:00-15:00 GMT. Each 60 minute Plum Workshop is facilitated-&-moderated by the heart-&-soul of Sister Snog, with hands-on modules delivered with panache by Sisters.

If you love what you do, each day becomes a joyful jump out of bed in the morning, ready for the adventure of the day ahead. February's #plumworkshop shines a light on entrepreneurial passion during the month dedicated to L.O.V.E in all its delicious & delightful guises.

Passion is fuel. Research shows it's a key predictor of creativity, persistence and venture performance. In other words, the more passionate the entrepreneur, the more likely they are to succeed in growing social capital and providing genuine VIP care for customers and clients. Both are driven by a desire to serve and and provide creme-de-la-creme service. The result. Customers and clients move up the loyalty ladder, fall head-over-heel in love with the brand to become cheerleaders, champions and true fans.

Sisters will be stepping into the spotlight to give guidance & direction on how to:

CRACK the code of habit formation by unraveling the secrets of starting small.

LEVERAGE the winner effect and tap into a winning mindset.

BUILD a portfolio of memory magnets made up of shareable-traffic-driving photos with extra pop.

ALIGN with purpose driven leaders by getting lessons and insights in leadership.

At the end of the four Monday afternoon sessions, Zoomsters will have been on a whistle stop tour of habits, awards, photography and leadership.

To ensure attendees are fresh-&-focused & have time to digest the information-&-knowledge, #plumworkshops are spread out and consist this month of 4 x 60 minute sessions over the month. Please read the Zoomsters Virtual Etiquette Guide before zooming in.

13:45-15:00 : Monday 22nd February : LOVE to Lead : Mary Gregory : Why having the courage to go beyond what's comfortable to transcend ourselves & our egos makes good leaders great.

Format

Pre-Event : The guest list will be sent to all attendees one working day before the #plumworkshop.

Zoomsters' Virtual Etiquette Guide

Zoom security : As a result of Zoom tightening up their online security all attendees must first enter the waiting room and be invited into the event by the host. The waiting room will be open 15 minutes before the start of the event. A chance to say hello to before the #plumworkshop starts.

Tick-tock-time-keeping : Be respectful of fellow Sisters by zooming in on time (or even 5 minutes early), being present at your desk (and not on the move in a car) for the duration of the zoom and don't do a disappearing act before the session has finished.

Start-&-finish : Zoom-in promptly for the session. The waiting room opens at 13:45 and the Plum Workshop starts at 14:00 on the dot. And unless you've left the iron on don't vanish unexpectedly. Remember to sign out or leave the meeting when the session is finished.

No show on the day : If you can't make it please be gracious-&-respectful and let us know by sending Hela a quick text on 07714 218699 so she knows not to expect you.

No admission : To prevent disruption to #virtualplumworkshop the Zoom Room will be locked at 14:10.

Present-&-correct : As #lockdown means we're only see a few faces on a daily basis - the Plum Workshops are perfect to feel part of the clan. Keep your video on live so there's a full house of familiar faces to kick off the day. However, if you're having a bad hair day - no problem - as you can be hidden, listen and still feel part of the Tribe.

Shadows-&-halos : Avoid back lights from bright windows and make sure you have good lighting on your face so you can be seen clearly.

The right angle : Adjust your camera to be at around eye level & take note of the angle of your laptop screen if using the built-in camera.

Optimise the experience : Shut down applications on your computer to keep the video optimally functioning & use a headset with an external mic for best hearing and speaking capabilities.

Snacking-&-slurping : Bring a cuppa but keep the snacks in the snack tin.

One at a time : Mute the microphone when you're not speaking & avoid talking over others (lower left corner of the screen) If you want to speak, put your hand up use the raise hand feature that is available at the bottom centre of your screen.

Delicious distractions : Bring a notebook to jot down words of wisdom, #ahamoments and questions but don't start on the shopping list or answer emails or send texts.

Question time : Use the chat to share questions.

Social sharing & storytelling : Make sure you're following all Sisters attending. The guest list will have Twitter & Instagram details. Feed the social buzz across your fave social platforms. Tag & mention & comment to boost the social sizzle.

Address the Sisters : When you're speaking or presenting look into the camera & avoid the floor.

Pets : Animals keep us human so well behaved pets welcome. Parrots, parakeets, mynah birds or budgies however may be overly noisy.

Important information about timings & attendance

Who can book : Kitten or Killer Heel members of Sister Snog only. Sisters-in-Waiting. Sisters. Big Sisters. Really Big Sisters. Body Doubles.

Booking closing date : Bookings for the Lovepreneurs Plum Workshop session close 3 working days before each session to allow time to send out the guest list.

Kitten Heel Member refund policy : Payment in full is required to secure & confirm the booking. Once payment has been made, Sister Snog does not offer refunds. Kitten Heel Members who are unable to attend may send a substitute i.e. Body Double or another Sister.

Kitten Heel Member cancellation policy : Sister Snog requires at least two working days' notice to cancel this event booking. The notice MUST be by email to hela@sistersnog.com & be acknowledged by Sister Snog.
