We are delighted to be screening Plunge, a short, animated documentary, following Seaham resident Katie, who finds empowerment, friendship, and healing by plunging into frigid waters of the sea.  

Ellie Land, the director, will introduce the film and be available for a post screening Q & A. 

Ellie Land, a BAFTA long-listed Animation Director and Immersive Content Director, creates beautiful narrative-driven content for film, TV, digital platforms and Immersive VR and site-specific installation that challenges audiences to see the world differently. 

The film discusses issues around mental health and is more suitable for older children and adults.
