Entry Requirements

This course is for enthusiastic beginners or photographers who have experience with analogue photography and would like to bridge the gap to digital practices. We will be using Apple Mac computers so basic computer literacy is an advantage (eg can copy and paste files from one location to another) but is not essential. These basic skills can be covered briefly at the start of the course.

Materials and Equipment

You will need a camera, notepad, pen, and memory stick (minimum 8GB) for every session. Please do not use your camera cards as memory sticks. A DSLR camera is preferable but not essential. You can book a camera with your College student card if necessary. You will be required to pay for printing while on your course. This should not exceed £5.

Bring to First Session

There will be DSLR cameras available at the first session. Bring a notepad, pen and memory stick (minimum 8 GB), and your own DSLR camera if you have one.

Please note that all courses are subject to student numbers and will only run if sufficient numbers are achieved. Plymouth College of Art reserves the right to cancel a course if insufficient student numbers are recruited.
